Raksha Bandhan 2024 Muhurat. Raksha bandhan, commonly known as rakhi, is celebrated on the full moon day of the hindu month of shravana. The muhrat or the auspicious beginning of this year’s raksha bandhan is between 01:30 pm to 09:08 pm on the 19th of august 2024.

It is also known as rakhri or rakhi purnima. The inauspicious time should be avoided when tying the rakhi.
